A couple things here. First, the refs need to learn to toughen up or to ignore the crowd. Focus on the ice and not the people watching the game. Secondly, Parents need to learn how to control themselves. This is kids playing out there, yes you may think your kid is going to be the next Gretzky or Richard, but at this point in their lives these kids just want to go out and play the game. You're shouting abuse is embarrassing them. Plus you're not setting a very good example for them to follow.


I think not allowing parents to watch the games is a terrible idea, but at the same time I see where they are coming from. I just don't think its the solution. If people are being abusive to the players and officials, kick them out. Don't punish those parents who take the time out of their day to attend the games and behave. There are enough children out there who are left looking for an absentee parent.
