Police on Friday investigated the motive of the anti-U.S. activist they say slashed the U.S. ambassador to South Korea, as questions turned to whether security was neglected.

Slashed with a knife or with a sword this sounds like an extremely dangerous situation they probably should call the FBI. having local police take care of a situation like this is a horrible idea we definitely want to keep up good relations with South Korea.
