RTPi Portugal on 97W off the air
« on: March 11, 2014, 07:01 pm »
Please be advised that due to operational issues, RTPi has temporarily ceased broadcasting on Galaxy 19 @ 97w Ku-band. For our customers who are able to receive C-band satellite, the channel remains available on Intelsat 805 @ 55.5W C-band.

Transmission on Galaxy 19 @ 97W should resume within the next few days.

Thank you fior the update. Are they getting ready to move to a higher definition picture (MPEG 4)?

Unfortunately not. :/ I believe they simply had an issue with their feed to RRsat who uplinks them on Galaxy 19. The problem was resolved overnight last night and the channel is now available again.
