I think your asking will the 9865 receive 4k transmissions. The 9865 only receives up to Mpeg 4 HD. It will be quite a while before 4K is actually a mainstream thing. Rainier will update our receiver choice if and when that becomes necessary. Rest assure the 9865 will be fine for many years.

If you own a 4k TV Our Pure Master HD signals will give you an experience in picture quality that no one else provides.

Rainier Satellite has no current plans to offer a ku service. Unfortunately ku services out there are bit starved, suffer from rain and snow fade, and are overpriced. Rainier does not bit starve, has no rain or snow fade, and our pricing is affordable. We offer a 9 foot quality dish (that works like a 10 foot) for those that have the space. Apartment landlords can sign up for Rainier's commercial MDU services and distribute it for their tenants if they wish.

All depends on how the landlord's MDU system allocates the bits when processed locally. Have your landlord contact Rainier about our commercial offerings.
