4DTV VS D9865 RECEIVER
« on: September 28, 2016, 11:16 am »

 > The 4DTV receiver is digital decipher receiver. The D9865B and D9865H
 > is a Power View SIGNAL receiver. Motorola (ARRIS) has now SHUT DOWN
 > their signal that was broadcast for the 4DTV RECEIVER to receive the
 > C-BAND / (Digital decipher signal). This means No C-BAND DECIPHER
 > signal is available to C BAND OWNERS. MOTOROLA / ARRIS is NOT ALLOWING
 > a C BAND SIGNAL to be broadcast to anyone who has a C-band dish.

 > This is why RAINIER SATELLITE had to find a Receiver (D 9865B & D
 > 9865H) that could pick up a C-BAND signal. It is a Power View
 > encrypted  signal which Motorola / ARRIS has no control of. This is
 > why Rainier has been working hard to keep C BAND AVAILABLE. Rainier
 > Satellite has to get everything put together to receive programming.
 > They are getting closer to starting up programming.

To my knowledge Motorola (ARRIS) controls the Digital Decipher Signal and there is NO Digital Decipher Signal available now because Motorola ARRIS has taken the signal down and is no longer available on the C Band platform. If they don't put the signal back up then there won't be a signal available.

Power View is a different signal and Motorola Arris does not control it.

Maybe someone with better knowledge than I have can chime in. My answer is the 4DTV receiver is now only good for a dish mover and a skew adjuster.

As far as the D9865'S go they are using the Power View signal but I am not privy to what Cisco is doing now or in the future as I am not privy to what Rainier is doing with there Signals.

My answer is the Digital Decipher Signals are gone and no one can get them.
