Rainier is currently getting the Cisco PowerVu channels rolled out. As we've needed to reinvent the wheel this is not a quick process. Digicipher will be addressed once PowerVu is finished.
Rainier is not currently jumping on the 4k frenzy. It may end up being a fad like 3D was. There is very little content right now. Dumping megabucks into a fad can be a bad thing.
If you've jumped on the frenzy and bought a 4K TV you can feed it with our PURE HD signal. Since we don't bitstarve like all other providers out there. We guarantee our signal will look phenomenal on your 2160 display.
Speaking of Digicipher its been a year since HITS shutdown. Except for Rainier Satellite providing big dish subscription programming with a growing number of channels, there's been no action from anyone else. At this point it's safe to say that Programming Center, Skyvision and associated interests have no interest in pursuing anything anymore. Many rumors proliferated from hearsay at other forums a year ago. If Arris was willing to provide hardware for the new DVB-S2 signals HITS is using and Comcast was willing to authorize DC-2 it would have been announced by now.
If you have a C band dish and haven't looked into Rainier yet maybe its time you do. We offer the best picture and price in the industry. We continue to grow and will continue to do so. Were in this for the long haul. Why sit on the sidelines and miss out on a proven sure thing from a company that continues to deliver content.
