Did you guys take the the poll from Rainier yet?
http://www.info.rainiersatellite.net/2019/01/14/what-tracker-do-you-use-to-move-your-dish-take-our-poll/ Looking forward to retiring the old 4DTV as my mover. I called Rainier the other day. They told me they're currently being shipped from the factory. I can't wait till the mighty mini is in stock.
I'm extremely satisfied with my purchases from Rainier. Top shelf gear and support. Enjoying Sony Movie Channel too. Great to see commercial free, uncut movies again on c band.
I had NPS years back. They cared about C band like Rainier does till Dish Network got involved. Programming center and Skyvision never were active trying to save what was left with the 4DTV. The channel count kept getting lower and lower till they died. (like fta is) If the guys at Rainier continue to move forward like they are, they will be the king of C band like NPS was.
With Directv and Dish shutting down their satellite services in the next couple years rural America is going to be out of luck. You can't stream TV well with dial up or low speed internet. Rainier's gonna be the only option for them. If they play their cards right, a flood of new subscribers will be in the c band subscription market as these folk want cable channels. Fta sales won't benefit from the shutdown of dbs cause any content worth watching is disappearing at an alarming rate. Without content to sell you have nothing. Do these fta dealers have enough common sense to realize this? The continued hate for Rainier from them is totally stupid. They blame Rainier for all the troubles with their sales. If they want to flourish in business they need a product that's desirable. This usually costs money which they don't have or are willing to invest. Selling receivers with a $20-$50 markup over cost, with no content, nor support is the most stupid business plan I ever heard of.
Keep up the good work Rainier, you guys are really going places. I wish you continued success in 2019 and beyond.
