Both channels you mention are in digicipher. The D9865D receivers built in decoder is to decipher PowerVu transmissions. Rainier is focused on those encoded broadcasts for now. There are two ways we can approach digicipher broadcasts. Both though will add considerable costs that would need to be absorbed by the customer. Did you ever wonder why your cable or little dish bills are so high? The customer absorbs ALL operating costs. Rainier is trying to keep charges to our customers at a minimum.
There are many good channels in PowerVu including sports like NESN and movies that can fulfill most peoples wants and desires. Once those are taken care of, Rainier will review if it's worth the additional costs vs what the return will be from logistics at that time to add other type of encrypted channels. We continue to rebuild C band one step at a time. This requires making wise business and financial decisions.
