[SatNews] The Express- AM8 satellite was delivered to the Baikonur Cosmodrome on March 2, 2015. 

The spacecraft is currently being processed for launch. The launch of Proton-M / Breeze-M with the Express-AM8 on board is scheduled for 6 April 2015.

The Express-AM8 satellite has been manufactured on RSCC orders by the ISS Reshetnev Company (Russia) in conjunction with Thales Alenia Space (France). Express-AM8 is intended for providing communications and broadcasting services in the Ð¡-, Ku- and L-bands in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
