[SatNews] ..."we are always eager to participate in such forums especially in Saudi Arabia, as it gives us the opportunity to meet our partners and customers."

Arab Satellite Communications Organization, Arabsat, participants and sponsors will be attending The Saudi Media Forum, which will be held during the period November 26-27, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the presence of many specialists and dignitaries in the media and TV broadcasting field in the region.

Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Balkheyour, President and CEO of Arabsat

Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Balkheyour, President and CEO of ARABSAT, said, "This is our fourth participation in this forum, and as a satellite operator and carrier of radio, television, and social media, we are always eager to participate in such forums especially in Saudi Arabia, as it gives us the opportunity to meet our partners and customers. We hear from them and know their feedbacks and updates as well as their aspirations in order to provide them with a better service.

Founded in 1976, ARABSAT has been serving the growing needs of the Arab world for over 30 years, it carries over 450 TV channels, 160 radio stations, 3 Pay-TV networks and a wide variety of HD channels reaching tens of millions of homes in more than 80 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and beyond, including an audience of over 170 million viewers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region alone tuned into Arabsat’s video “hotspot” at 26 degrees East.

Operating a growing fleet of owned satellites at the 20 degrees East, 26 degrees East, 30.5 degrees East and 34.5 degrees East positions of the geostationary orbit, ARABSAT is the only satellite operator in the MENA region offering the full spectrum of broadcast, telecommunications and broadband services. This capacity will continue to expand with the launching of new satellites, making the ARABSAT satellites’ fleet the youngest in the region.
