Hello, I just wanted to ask about Home Theater System. What is a good brand to get with while searching for home audio equipment? I think Dayton or Yamaha are great brands but if you know any other, let me know.

It isn't just the brand, but the configuration, the warranty and the price. I would never shop by brand alone. I would do some research on what makes a good system and then check on what is available.

It is best that you should go to the store and see it for yourself. If you're asking for a brand, then I would say Samsung. I bought one 7 years ago and it is still going strong. I admit I saw some new models nowadays and they look and sound great. But it is somewhat costly.

Think JBL! Its the best brand as far as I am concerned. Although, you can carry out a thorough research, you'll conclude that JBL is the best brand. They have an entry level home theater system that you may want to try before you spend serious cash.
