I think that leagues that are primarily made up of players under the age of 13 should be more protective of the children. However I think that completely eliminating bodychecks from the game is going to leave them unprepared for when they play in leagues with others who have had more exposure to it. This is just going to increase the risk for those players down the road.


Yvonne Harding needs to understand that kids are going to get hurt no matter what. I myself never played hockey growing up and still managed to get more than my fair share of concussions. Getting hurt it just a part of growing up.
